These are resources that we are effectively stealing from future generations.Today, the construction industry accounts for a fifth of Sweden's carbon dioxide emissions, while the majority of all surplus materials are not recycled. For us at Hummeltorp, it has long been obvious that there are big savings to be made for the environment and the economy by increasing the construction industry's recycling rate. Therefore, we recycle surplus materials into new quality products that can be reused in construction processes. By recycling, we save resources for future generations.
