Hummeltorp supports the Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign.

At Hummeltorp we have always worked for the good of the environment, but for us it is obvious that health and the environment go hand in hand. As part of our commitment, we are proud to support the Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign!

Thanks to advances in research and everyone who has contributed along the way, more people are surviving cancer today and breast cancer treatment has undergone enormous improvements. Today, the five-year survival rate is close to 90 percent, compared to around 75 percent in the 1990s. Mammography screening, targeted drugs and better surgical methods have contributed to increased survival and a better quality of life. There has been much progress, but researchers are convinced that more progress can be made. More research is needed to better understand the disease, develop new treatments and reduce its impact on people's lives.

The Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign runs during October every year. The aim is to raise money for Swedish cancer research, spread knowledge and influence decision-makers. We at Hummeltorp are happy to be part of this effort and we hope to inspire!
