Hummeltorp's CEO receives important board position in the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce SACC-USA has elected Botkyrka entrepreneur Christer Otterström, CEO of Hummeltorp, as a new board member. With his extensive experience in circular mass management and sustainable recycling, Christer brings valuable expertise to the work of promoting trade relations and sustainable investments between the US and Sweden.
"We are proud to welcome Christer Otterström to our board. His commitment and deep industry knowledge will strengthen our operations and contribute to the development of more green and sustainable collaborations between Sweden and the US at a time when collaboration is needed more than ever," says Per Cedergren, Chairman of the Board at SACC-USA.
SACC-USA is a non-profit membership organization with 19 regional chambers across the United States and a broad representation from both regional and national companies, including major players such as Einride, SAAB, KPMG and AstraZeneca. Now the board is joined by Christer Otterström, CEO of Hummeltorp, which is one of Sweden's most successful companies in mass recycling of building materials.
It is a great honor to be elected to the board of SACC-USA. I look forward to working with SACC to strengthen the cooperation and exchange of innovation between Sweden and the USA. We are already collaborating with the USA when it comes to manufacturing viable soil after the devastating fires in LA. We are facing major global challenges and through collaboration we can create long-term solutions that benefit both the environment and business, says Christer Otterström, CEO of Hummeltorp.
