Hummeltorp är en del av den växande cirkulära ekonomin, där material och jord- och krossprodukter återanvänds i stället för att kasseras. We create Growth, Jobs & Greener communities! We lead the development of a climate-smart & circular society. More cost-effective mass & debris handling Better for our planet, our health and future generations Improved preparedness & resilience With new world-leading and more cost-effective technology, we refine, purify and recycle surplus materials. We produce high-quality products at low cost that reduce environmental impact and replace and preserve nature's non-renewable resources. We work towards a circular economy where waste resources become new quality products and new opportunities in a sustainable cycle. Every ton we handle both preserves nature's non-renewable resources while also reducing hazardous landfills! Companies have the opportunity to submit surplus materials for recycling and processing, as well as order Soil, Aggregates and Special Products. As a private individual, you can purchase our products safely and conveniently directly from us or retailers. Buy products Submit masses Play Hummeltorp diverse & recycles for future generations Cost-effective for a prosperous planet (Climate, Oceans, Lakes & Watercourses, Fewer risky landfills) For our health (Clean ground & drinking water, Clean and fertile soil for food production) For future generations (Reduced use of non-renewable resources) Improved preparedness & resilience (to deal with disasters) If humanity continues to exploit natural resources at the current rate, we will need resources from three continents by 2050 to cover our consumption. These are resources that we are effectively stealing from future generations. Today, the construction industry accounts for over a fifth of Sweden's carbon dioxide emissions, while the majority of all surplus materials are not recycled. For us at Hummeltorp, it has long been obvious that there are major savings to be made for the economy, the environment and the climate by increasing the construction industry's diversion & recycling rate. That is why we divert & recycle surplus materials into new environmentally safe quality products that can be reused in construction processes. Through recycling, we save resources for future generations while at the same time reducing risky landfills. We currently accept the following materials for recycling: Asphalt mixtures Concrete masses Brick Rock masses Excavation materials Stumps & Garden Waste Horse manure See gate fees and more information here Report incoming masses Submit masses Products Our sustainability work Get to know us Explore Hummeltorp Latest news Internationella Kvinnodagen den 8 mars Nyhet Mar 8, 2026 Hummeltorp on the global stage - Global Summit 2025 in Brussels News Nov 5, 2025 Hummeltorp in Entreprenad magazine – investing globally in recycling Nyhet Sep 4, 2025 Swedish recycling technology helps Los Angeles recover from the fires – producing soil for an area equivalent to 6000 football fields News Jun 5, 2025 See more news Soil Aggregates Special products Concrete products Asphalt granules Our product categories Quality-assured climate-smart products that offer both economic and ecological benefits. Welcome to Hummeltorp Sweden AB A well managed family business for several generations Hummeltorp Sverige AB was founded in 1973 by Bengt Otterström, who at the time manufactured his own soil types for sale. In the 1990s, the company also began to accept receiving excavated material for recycling. Home / Our history 100 years of innovation and development On March 1, 2017, there was a generational change within the Otterström family and the company is now run by son Christer Otterström. Today, the company produces and sells the market's best growing garden and cultivation top soils, plant substrates, aggregates, circular ballast materials and newly developed special products.
